Barking Bad Bakery and Boutique travels to markets, festivals and events all across the great state of Texas to bring our handcrafted organic dog treats, bandanas and bow ties to all animal lovers. We are currently exploring other markets in the U.S. stretching from the west to the east coast. Our entire operation is run by the two of us (Mishka and Aaron) and we manage to make it out to 100+ shows a year! San Antonio, TX: Our roots have been planted here in San Antonio and is Aaron's hometown along with Mishka's start in the U.S. as a foreign exchange student. The idea for our handmade dog treats came to us in 2016 in the kitchen of our home. We felt that we needed to step up the game in the dog treat industry and bring organic dog biscuits to the forefront of our market. This was our chance to separate ourselves from the big box companies and our other competitors. San Antonio is where home base is but our reach goes beyond the Alamo City.
Boerne, TX: Boerne, TX is a German town northwest of San Antonio and is Aaron's high school alma mater (Go Greyhounds!). New Braunfels, TX: New Braunfels, TX is nestled in between San Antonio and Austin down the I-35 corridor. What once was a small German town, now boasts a population of nearly 75,000 people and counting. It is in the heart of the Texas Hill Country and home to the world famous water park Schlitterbahn. San Marcos, TX: A college town located between New Braunfels and Austin, TX is home to the Texas St Bobcats (formerly Southwest Texas) and one of the most aesthetically pleasing campuses in the Lone Star state. Dallas, TX: The Dallas Market Center was how we opened ourselves to the city of Dallas, TX. This wholesale kingdom boasts 15+ floors of thousands of companies big and small trying to get their foot in door of building their empire.
